David Sheehan – Chief Executive Officer, Global Diagnostics
David is CEO of Global Diagnostics. Having started his career in the sectors of investment banking and corporate finance, David joined a client newspaper publisher and contract printing business in 2004 which he managed as Chief Operating Officer for 4 years. David holds a BA (Mathematics, Economics) and MA (Economics) from University College Dublin.
David was appointed CEO of Global Diagnostics in early 2010 and was previously Chief Operating Officer of Centric Health since 2008.
Dr Johnny Walker: Founder and Clinical Governance
Johnny is a medical entrepreneur and clinically active dual qualified Radiologist and Nuclear Physician. He is an Australian medical graduate and a Fellow of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. Johnny founded Imaging The South Group (Western Australia) in 1995 and Global Diagnostics (UK) in 2001.
Johnny remains clinically active on a daily basis. He is the leader of clinical governance and operational excellence that permits the delivery of the radiology service around the clock and around the world 24 / 7.
Sinéad O’Connor: General Manager
Sinéad joined the Global Diagnostics Irish team in January 2010. She is a radiographer and a healthcare professional with 20 years of diverse practical experiences gained in North America and Ireland in a wide range of clinical, management and consultancy roles. While resident in New York she managed one of the largest private radiology clinics in NYC and all its satellite locations. On her return to Ireland in 2004 she established herself as an independent healthcare consultant working in a wide range of public and private hospitals. She has extensive experience in medical facility design and layout, hospital workflow, process mapping and change management, regulatory compliance, accreditation, patient safety and risk management. She also has extensive practical experience of strategic and daily management of complex medical facilities.
Marie Louise Butler: Clinical Coordinator
Marie-Louise is a radiography graduate of University College Dublin. Marie-Louise joined Global Diagnostics as Clinical Coordinator in 2009 after working in SwiftCare clinics for the previous 3 years. Her primary role is to mentor and develop staff skills and education and deals primarily with clinical issues. She combines her work with Global Diagnostics with working as a lecturre and researcher in University College Dublin.
Chris Goodyer: Project Co-ordinator
Chris has been the Project Co-ordinator for Global Diagnostics since August 2008, participating in new implementations and also day by day monitoring of the teleradiology service and its performance metrics. Prior to joining Global Diagnostics he had 14 years in healthcare in New Zealand in project and line management. His extensive knowledge includes over 10 years experience with digital imaging and management of Radiology services.
